MLD & POST SURGERY MLD SERVICES

A therapeutic form of soft tissue mobilization to enhance lymphatic flow and detox in the body.

MLD effectively reduces edema (swelling in the body), and helps to relief migraine headaches, symptoms of fibromyalgia, lipedema, arthritis, stress, fatigue and other conditions.

POST SURGICAL - Patients 5 days- 3 months post surgery. MLD aids in recovery after surgery to reduce swelling, bruising and pain. MLD speeds up the healing process by reducing swelling, fluid retention and bruising, increasing the removal of cellular debris and other waste from the traumatized area, reduces scar formation, build-up of fibrotic nodules (hard lumps), improves skin texture and tone, decreases risk of infection and more.

CST is a light-touch approach that can create dramatic improvements. It releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. During a 60 or 90 minute massage therapy session you will receive a combination of massage and CST. The CST will range 15- 60 minutes depending on your individual needs and experience.

Using the direct heat of the stones to relax muscles, allows the therapist access deeper muscle layers. Combining the hot stones with a full body massage makes for a very healing and effective experience. The hot stones encourages blood flow throughout the body and have a sedative effect that can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress and promote deep relaxation.
